ARTIST NOTES: This art work is based off a photo of my great great grandfather on my dads side. This artwork is painted with acrylic paint on a canvas. For the body I mixed some spreader medium into the paint to make it thiner and for the background I mixed a paint thickener in to the paint to make the background have a differant texture to the rest of the painting. The background it painted with palette knives and the rest with differant size paintbrushes.
